This project showcases landscape photography through a surrealist lens by creating photographic composites that obscure different landscapes. These composites present an uncanny, fantastical, slightly other-worldly image that does not necessarily look like the ‘real’ landscape. Undertaken in a mysterious style that leaves the viewer questioning what exactly they’re looking at in each composite.
This project does not aim to focus on a specific name of a specific space/landscape rather it focuses on elements of different landscapes and how they can come together to create an image reminiscent of a faraway land.
