At a young age, my life changed forever due to a Spinal Cord Injury, which left me unable to do things I once loved, such as venturing out into the ocean. Due to this, I fell in love with photography and how I was able to capture the same feelings I once experienced from a different perspective.
Ever since then, I have dedicated time to learning and mastering approaches to media.
Today, I work as the Head of Digital Engagement for RMIT University's Sport & Recreation department (RMIT Active).
I now have over six years of experience in sports media production, content creation, graphic design, social media management, broadcasting and team leading. I am known for my creativity, storytelling, strong work ethic and passion for my craft.
After being a part of the RMIT Sports Media program as a Volunteer, I now run the program, which is made up of 60+ student volunteers and Interns. Where I hope to provide students the same life-changing experience I had.
On top of my work at RMIT, I also take part as an advocate and spokesperson for children and teens living with Spinal Cord Injuries through Spinal Cord Injury Australia. I preach vulnerability and see it as a strength, and hence try to combine it with my creative work practices.
